Trickster

After watching your children being dragged to the edge of the active volcano, the chief… or the chief apparent… turns to you and says, “Just joking!”

How often have you been dragged thus to the edge of the world where every fibre of your being is screaming in fright only to discover that the impending doom you thought for sure would be the end of you and all your loved ones, turned out to be… well to say a joke is probably pushing it a bit far… a trickster ploy to awaken you to what really matters… existing… authentically… alive… awake, with love in your heart. 

No wonder everyone loves Scorpios! What a sense of humour! Who knew?

When a reality shatters like glass upon a prison floor, especially emotionally charged realities like, “Please Mr. President, don’t throw my babies over the wall!”, it is time to repair. Melt the shards of pointed pain and refashion again. 

Today, if you need time to recoup, take it. The right thing to do when coming out the other side of an experiential wringer is to rest, repair and bathe your being in the slow integrational time of kindness towards yourself and amusement at the wonder of it all. 

If you are asking, “What the Heck fire has just happen?”, take some time. The greatest trick is believing in your worst fears. An even greater trick is not falling for it. There! I just broke the the proper use of superlatives… and it makes sense!
