Abide the tide

There is a rhythm to the tides and so too with the knowing of opportune times.

An old sea captain has experience. Sometimes he senses it appropriate to bide his time, perhaps in his rocking chair telling tales of tides past while awaiting a new opportune moment for sailing.

In communications today, accept no personal compromise in all affairs. Inspect the terms with care and calmly decline anything that seems off character. There will be opportune times aplenty to come, therefore, do not jump to become entangled in a convoluted pie in the sky story.
