Sink, separate and multiply

So tempting to play with the isolated word, ‘divers’, today. Deep-sea divers sink deep; divers as in the verb ‘diversify’ indicates variety; as a numerical expression, divers means many. Of course, to add some colour, one could call those who frequent disreputable drinking establishments as ‘divers’.

But I diverge from my purpose…

Conversations today, could go deep. Some topics may evoke a sinking feeling. Do listen carefully for disclosures from others. In business, for example, one may decide not to partner with someone who either has only superficial interests, or who may get you in deep… as in a troubling situation.

Good time to soberly review personal loses from the past. As William Faulkner said: "The past is never dead. It's not even past."

Good day to check motivations: your own and those of others. If affections are pulled-back today, know that there are things going on which call for exploration, discussion and deeper reflection.
