What if you carried yourself in a way that did not hinge on pleasing others?

Not to suggest mindless selfish behaviour, but rather a clever and playful way of going that does not react to onrush of judgment, judges, and what others think. Many of us work overtime to help solve problems for others, to adjust our ways in order to win approval. To withdraw from such depleting exercise, is sure to welcome a surge of relief and freedom. 

Great day to look at things from a different perspective. For example, why is your dog not upset with what the neighbour thinks? 
Or, notice how the trees sway in the breeze and the river flows on even if there has been disappointment at work, or in career moves, or disillusionment in relationship.

Do tinker with your routine. An internet-free day could be the new salutary measure in life. Sedentary lifestyle? Go for a walk. News fanatic? Try a news-free day. Obsessed with cute pics of pets playing poker or with silly captions? Well there is no known cure for that, but let’s experiment anyway.
