Bread

The food theme continues today. Breaking bread with others in the spirit of fellowship can transcend many perceived difficulties.

If, in relationship dynamics, a few eggs are broken… make an omelette. If there are barriers, real or perceived, between individuals, share a meal. The action of preparing and sharing food is fundamental for human being. With regards to bread making in its simplest form, the sourdough bread, it is perhaps preceded historically by only the making of beer… both tending to get a little rise out of people.

Things can change significantly today. Like flour, salt and water, a simple recipe can have a transformative effect. Good day to make something happen. Good day to break bread together. Good day to make bread rather than buy it.
