After breaking bread in fellowship, awareness surges with care.
Imagine showing a man the door to freedom. You open the door and rescue is the result. Or you extend a helping hand and pull a man from the drink.
Rescue suggests coming into safety and security, and yet, most often we think of locking something up safely, to tie it down, to lock the door securely on something of worth. The common ground of sense lies in care and cure. To secure, is to place on solid ground; and ground is, in humanistic terms, earth, humus, the stuff of embodied existence. Breath is how man is enthused… yes, I wrote enthused… with divine spirit. But while on earth, man exists with heart… coeur, courage, cura: care.
For a man is free and sovereign when, in care, he walks on solid ground, a path of his own quest. To rescue, then, is to illumine for a man that he can walk on the strength of his own legs on the earth. This is the core sense of cure and care. In other words, nothing at all to do with asking your doctor is Adumbfluxicum (side affects may include forfeiture of your power to choose for yourself, to be drowned by seaweed tentacles that drug and drag to a watery grave) is right for you.
Good day for making connections via communications with others… not for gain or advantage, but to care. Clear the air. Start afresh. That’s a cure.
