First steps

An interesting thing about learning to walk lies in the seeming mis-match of two important factors. Standing on one’s own two feet and taking the steps of individuality seems to fly in the face of the instinctive and trusting way a child reaches for a hand of help. 

The steps of independence begin with a helping hand. 

Today, listen for words of encouragement, or other forms of a helping hand extended, that lead to individuality. There is no questioning of the power and resourcefulness to get the job done, however, a little assistance makes all the difference.

For some, passions will cooking within, leading to potential extraordinary times together with your lover. Even when passions and desires do not come to full fruition, there can be very meaningful sharing of experience. The key is: reach out your hand; “may I have this dance?”; “let me help you up”; “your look wonderful tonight”.

Conversations today may touch upon some first steps amongst your friends and community. As in the recent days past, it is important to speak using inclusive terms… we and let’s… rather than in divisive terms… we and they.
