A house raising is a symbol of cooperation set to constructive purpose to erect a house quickly, efficiently.

There are organizational factors: foundation first; floors, walls, weight bearing beams and pillars, then the roof. Much of the building is done near the house site, then carried and raised at the proper time. Distribution of labour and construction must be well-planned and well-timed.

Today, the emphasis is on working in close quarters with others to get something done. Consider setting up elements of your project so that they are ready to go when it all comes together. 

Others may be more cooperative and helpful today, therefore, do not try to lift the whole house on your own.
