If an opportunity lost was really meant for you, it will come back. When it does, stay with it. It may not come back if you drop it again. Success happens this way: if something is practiced even as a casual hobby for years, it eventually grows to be a rewarding talent or skill. Giving up because there is no immediate success is just wrong.
