Mingling at a social event…

Why not? You may meet some interesting people, perhaps make connections which open up opportunities. This is a period of time in which opportunities arise while at social gatherings. 

The evening lawn party is like a new social start after a reshuffle of the deck. The imagined social perceptions that seemed to hold in the past are no longer viable. It is a new deck of cards; the hand you hold is not the same as before. 

Today, look at all things through a neutral lens. It is as if, unobscured by murky emotional waters, one can work with those with whom one never could imagine cooperation. Fresh agreements, deals, agreements can be made. Let’s not call it a level playing field, but perhaps one much more tolerant and open to  doing business.
