“A widow’s past brought to light” Sagittarius 13 Sabian Sage © 2016 Blain Bovee boveeastrology.com This Sabian symbol is illuminated at 12:45 PM EST December 3 Rumination Rumination. Let’s go chew on this again. Maybe if we go over this a few thousand more times we will find something. Rumi-ation: complaining about others is like backing up to run over roadkill again and again when the open road beckons to ever new wonders. Hearse: a vehicle with which to carry the dead to the grave. Re-hearse: to dig the body up so as to carry it back to the grave again. Harrow: implement to break up clods of earth into ever more fine soil, related to ‘harvest’ whereby one gathers together all of the fruit and bounty of life seasonally bestowed, or, to drag your mind over painful matters of the past… take your pick. Today, a good cup of tea may reveal many things, perhaps of things gone by, but also about how one lives, ethos, and the cutting question of whether one dwells in the pains of the past, or brings a new sensibility to the sheer overwhelming fecundity of life. There are three things, for the thoughtful wayfarer, that decide these matters: a feeling of goodness; that it disclose sense that resonates as true; and that it be in immediate experience, beautiful. Without these, one can be stuck in a harrowing situation. Chew on that.
