The ‘litho’ part is derived from ‘litho’, Greek for rock, stone. The creative action is one of pressing or pressure. In human experience, an impression can be left say, from meeting another, or a pressing situation may arise as in the urgency to meet a deadline. One might wonder if the power of the printed press is not meeting a pressing point regarding its power, or lack thereof. Today’s New Moon may bring a pressing matter to fruition, especially, if a matter of commitment to higher purpose is beckoning. New levels of personal commitments in all forms of relationships can push forward. Personal resolve to take a step up in one’s own journey to fulfillment can also arise for many. Listen for background music, the dulcet sounds, for example, from the halls of acoustic imagination. In spiritual quest, be aware of something pressing upon awareness as if from another realm. Like a gemstone or a deeply buried but valuable resource, something may be pressing upon you today. Think of it as the allure of beauty preciously pressing.

The Sabian symbols were created by Marc Edmund Jones and Elsie Wheeler in 1925. What you find here are the original Sabian symbols with my commentary based on the Sabian symbol for the day in question.
