“An Indian squaw pleading the chief for the lives of her children” Scorpio 29 Sabian Sage © 2016 Blain Bovee boveeastrology.com This Sabian symbol is illuminated at 4:50 PM EST November 19 Protection One of the more dramatic Sabian symbol images, pleading for the lives of one’s children brings up deep primordial instincts. This is good news, even though few would care to be the mother pleading while a ritual sword is raised over the heads of her children. The point is, one is ever brought into tight spaces where things dear to oneself, analogous to children, are brought into question or apparent peril. While the yawning mouth of an active volcano awaits the dear small ones in sacrifice, it is very likely that the mother will cop a plea. “Anything… just let my children live!” In the ritual world of the court system, this plea bargaining is seen repeatedly, and yet, something is ever lost of yourself when you so bargain. Courageous is the mother who knows that what is so lovingly held in her heart can never be harmed. There is, even in tight spots, the unflagging embrace of protection. Today, especially when you feel crowded, hemmed in, know that great arms of protection hold you in a loving embrace. If anxious, begin a swinging or rocking motion in order to activate restorative energies. Activate the throat chakra by toning, humming… even barely audible screech and scream is wonderfully freeing. When it counts, when all seems pressed against impossible wall of pleading, try these techniques. Works a charm.
