No man’s land
No man’s land is an area of uncertainty.
Usually ascribed to the space between two opposing parties, the land in question is technically unclaimed, unowned. Opposing sides may shout, “It’s mine!”, however such claims are unresolved.
Today, listen for claims about an area of uncertainty. For example, “Authorities say…”, then offer no further proof. In no man’s land, events attested are fiction, gossip, hearsay unless there is direct evidence or fast-binding proof.
In human discourse, this can be very irritating. One party is vehemently claiming such and such, the other is saying, “well where is the proof.” It is a valid question. Questioning is a valid position to take… although it may leave you standing in no man’s land, unappreciated, perhaps even scorned and reviled, perhaps charged with being unpatriotic or unsupportive of law enforcement.
The Moon is full and will swell the indignation of those who say, “How could you question authority?” If events and interactions should lead to a break, know that breaking away can be done softly. In no man’s land, one can listen without comment and without having to accept some claim as either true or untrue.
In no man’s land, the field is open. That may seem an unstable place to be, gypsy-like and without rule or order, however, authentic existing can be chosen only is such a space. Ask Pocahontas. Find out how she felt.
