In a basketball game, play is conducted within the court boundaries. When the ball goes outside the line, the whistle blows to halt play and re-start according to rule. 
In social situations, often there is one person who objects to how things are being done… amusingly, the rather unfair thought, “He’s a Virgo”, leaps to mind. It is as if play is stopped by the plaintive cry, “The ball was out! It’s not supposed to be that way! You’re all doing this wrong!” 

Today, thank goodness, it will not be necessary to get out your silver hammer and bong that person on the head. Discussions of details about the game, the project, how to wash the dishes, can take place in a more cooperative way. Yes, there may be delays at first, however, there is more openness to see things from a different perspective. Only attitudes such as, “the insistence of having things precisely this way”, or, “whatever… who cares”, will miss the joys of playing in the game.
