Today: In urgent times… when one feels as if brought to the very edge of a matter… a leap of faith is called for.
Imagine standing on a rock precipice, no way back, nothing but a vast yawning abyss before. What do you do?
First, employ intelligence: not really a great option to join a lemming run based on some ill-understood hysteria. Second, consider faith: sometimes rational explanations fall short… perhaps the only thing for it is to leap.
Before you leap, try this technique in your critical analysis. Look at everything from two perspectives: convexly; and concavely. It produces a visual distortion of the known and so-called facts before you which can help free narrow focus, and focus exaggerated bluster.
