Inspiration: The recipe for success is actually an old one... which suggests that 'new' ways to make deals are rather suspect.
Today: Imagine you are pursuing a deal or a partnership that will help you launch your venture. If you here "Oh! The rules have changed. We don't do business that way anymore"…. run.
There are fundamentals to new starts. One is personal recognition: if its your idea, you deserve a fitting measure of the rewards.
Another is a measure of security: if there is no hard fall-back, insurance so to speak, forget it.
A third is simply when you a have an inner sense suggesting a lack of trust in a potential partner, walk away.
Good things can happen. Rewards may be rich. But do not surrender your critical intelligence and seasoned instincts for a flakey deal.
