Blain has been a practicing Astrologer and philosophic counselor  for over 15 years and is the author of the acclaimed book  "The Sabian Symbols & Astrological Analysis: The Original Symbols Fully Revealed" released by Llewelyn Publishing in November, 2004.  He is a highly regarded and experienced teacher in many disciplines including astrology, creative writing, mandala principle, I Ching and meditation. Possessing Graduate degrees in Philosophy (Existential and Phenomenological Thought, Greek Philosophy) and Far Eastern Studies (Tibetan Buddhist Thought, Ancient Chinese Thought), and having experience with archetypal psychology, myth, fairy tale and storytelling, Blain brings  a wide array of academic and creative skills to every counseling session.
